Frederick MilitelloOver the past twenty-five years, Mr. Militello has advised and assisted hundreds of corporations in their global fund raising, asset management and related financial risk management strategies. From this broad experience, he has been able to help companies benchmark against their competitors and then surpass them by using innovative corporate finance techniques. He has consulted extensively for CEOs and CFOs at multinational corporations such as Datek, Georgia Pacific, Northwest Airlines and the Mead Corporation.

Mr. Militello has been a senior ranking sales executive for Chase Manhattan Bank. As a Managing Director, operating out of both London and New York, he led a team of more than fifty professionals. In this role he consulted with multinational companies and high net worth individuals on showing how financial products in general, and both cash and derivatives investment alternatives in particular, could meet either their investment or fund-raising parameters.

For the past ten years, Mr. Militello has served as an adjunct professor of international business at New York University's Leonard N. Stern Graduate School of Business, teaching some of the most well attended courses in the entire business school. Students have praised him for his ability to clearly explain very complex financial issues as well as for his practical experience, which allows him to enliven his lectures with actual case studies and lessons from the real world. Teaching Global Banking and Capital Markets, Mr. Militello has developed an excellent training curriculum focused on a strong practical underpinning for comparative advantage financing and the “reverse inquiry” processes needed for understanding investor preferences.

Mr. Militello also is a regular speaker and contributor to the advancement of financial ideas and practices through such organizations as the Financial Executives Institute, American Management Association; The Ambrosetti Group; Canadian Management Association; Management Centre Europe (Brussels) and FT New York Institute of Finance. Over the years he has also provided training to thousands of bankers on both the origination and distribution sides of the market working for such institutions as Chase Manhattan, Citicorp, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Paribas, Scotia Bank, etc.

He has written numerous books and articles on finance and is sought after to speak on a wide range of topics, including: leadership, entrepreneurship, corporate finance, global capital markets, banking relations, derivative risk management, and global fund-raising initiatives.

Mr. Militello is a graduate of Columbia University where he earned a Masters of International Affairs (M.I.A.) degree in International Economics. In l969, he was awarded the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award in Economics. He currently sits on the board of directors of many emerging-growth companies.
